Norwich offers something for everyone, every season of the year. Spring serves up the award-winning rose garden located Mohegan Park where visitors experience the fragrance of 2,500 rose bushes situated on two acres of gently sloping parkland. Summer beauty abounds at the outstanding Marina at American Wharf with 200 slips and an array of dockside services, a swimming pool, and a seasonal restaurant. 

During all seasons, walkers can enjoy journeys along the Heritage Riverfront Walkway from the Harbor to Indian Leap at Yantic Falls and the Power House along the Yantic River.  Historic Norwichtown provides the unique experience of a Colonial Green, Meeting House Rock, Old Burial Grounds and exquisite 17th and 18th century architecture.

Baseball fans of all ages are entertained by our Single-A New York Penn League Affiliate of the Norwich Sea Unicorns (formerly the Detroit Tigers, the Connecticut Tigers). Families have an ongoing opportunity to experience the excitement of professional baseball at one of the finest minor league parks in the country, our very own Dodd Stadium.

Welcome to historic Norwich Harbor at the head of the Thames River, where the Yantic and Shetucket rivers converge. In June of 1659, the first settlers of Norwich arrived by sailboat and landed nearby on the Yantic shore. Today, paddlers on the Norwich Harbor Water Trail experience first-hand the rich environment, culture and history of southeast Connecticut.

TIPS FOR PARKING IN DOWNTOWN NORWICH CT
The City of Norwich has established a Parking Commission to facilitate the use of parking areas in the downtown area. All street, lot, and garage spaces are monitored by the Parking Commission.
