“Explore biomedical engineering, circuitry, and careers in the trades with hands-on activities from the Connecticut Science Center!”
rought to you by our GNACC Education & Workforce Development Committee Thank you to our partners: ~ EWIB: Eastern Connecticut Workforce Investment Board ~ EAMA: Eastern Advanced Manufacturing Alliance RSP ~ American Job Center, Montville | Danielson | Willimantic ~ ReadyCT Testimonial: I just want to take a moment and thank you for having my students and staff being able to attend the Manufacturing Career Event on 5/9. Everything was so organized and planned out accordingly.
I loved how informative the presentation was for the pipelines. It provided just the right amount of information in a short amount of time. Students were able to stay focused and not lose interest. It gave many of them hope. Most of my students were interested and wanted to learn more. Some of them have started talking about taking the next steps for the programs that were discussed. This is HUGE for them. I was also impressed with the companies that were on-site. They stopped, took their time, and explained in detail what their company was and how it operated. They had patience and kindness towards the students, which alleviated a lot of nerves. Stephanie Dayger, Special Education Teacher with CT Coastal Academy, Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce - Norwich, CT is proud to partner with those organizations working towards involvement in the Eastern CT Manufacturing and/or Healthcare Pipeline Programs.
